Di sisi antarmuka, Apple iPhone 8 mengusung layar 4.7 inch jenis LED-backlit IPS LCD berkerapatan 326 ppi dengan resolusi 1334x750 pixels. Sementara kaca Apple iPhone X yang berdiagonal 5.8 inch menggunakan Super AMOLED Multi-Touch display dengan resolusi 1125x2436 pixels yang secara teknis akan menghasilkan 463 ppi.

Perbedaan juga terjadi pada ukuran body. Apple iPhone 8 memiliki panjang 138.4 mm, lebar 67.3 mm dengan ketebalan 7.3 mm. Adapun Apple iPhone X berdimensi panjang 143.6 mm, lebar 70.9 mm, dan tebal 7.7 mm. Untuk bobotnya, Apple iPhone 8 lebih ringan dengan bobot 148 gram, dibanding Apple iPhone X yang 174 gram.

Kedua perangkat mengusung kapasitas storage yang sama. Apple iPhone 8 menyisipkan memory internal 64 GB, sedangkan Apple iPhone X berkapasitas 64 GB. Adapun untuk memory RAM nya, Apple iPhone 8 dilengkapi RAM berkapasitas 2 GB, sedangkan Apple iPhone X dilengkapi 3 GB RAM.
